Global Senior Artist Michele Magnani and Senior Artist Keri Blair from MAC Cosmetics spoke about the beauty look. Michele Magnani said, “The makeup for today is a little mysterious. There is something visible and something invisible. I play a lot with the texture like the Damir Doma collection. I did the same for the skin. I used the Water Weight Foundation. The new foundation is amazing because it produced a new reality like a second skin. We don’t see the texture on the face, it is very minimal and natural … I added a little contouring with the BB Cream. I like the product because it is not like the classic bronzing and it is not like the classic contouring color. It is more fresh and more healthy. It is very invisible on the skin. I played a lot with the highlighter on the cheek bone, bridge of the nose, and the middle arch. To do this I used the new Strobe Cream in Silver. For the eyebrows I used the Big Brow Pencil. It is between eyeshadow and pencil. Lastly for the lips we use the new Velvet Tone in their skin tone … The inspiration for the show is that beauty can be simple or that simple things can be beauty. Simple, and minimal but in the end it is very effective.” Keri Blair added, “I did matte black nails on the hands and feet. We used Nocturnelle Nail Polish and matte overlapping. It is sort of like a minimalistic take on a gothic inspiration. We looked at the shoes and the texture of the clothing. It has a little bit of depth and a very a mysterious kind feel.”
