Despite admittedly being on house arrest, Rick Ross sat down with Charlamagne The God, Angela Yee and DJ Envy on The Breakfast Club this week, and chatted with the Power 30 list-toppers about everything that’s been going on, from his court cases to being named in a rape lawsuit to the new music he’s been relentlessly putting out, including a new single today, “Sorry,” featuring Chris Brown.

Ross offers the morning show hosts an alternative point of view regarding the Drake and Meek Mill riff, pointing out that though Drake may have swayed the court of public opinion in his favor, Meek spent his time on tour getting “real money,” and is now making some of the best music “I’ve ever heard in my life,” more than likely referring to Dreamchasers 4, which Meek teased on his Instagram last month.

Shortly after the interview went live, Ross announced what we all suspected to be the case: a new studio album, releasing in December, titled Black Market, a clever follow-up to his recent mixtape, Black Dollar. Black Market will be Ross’ 8th studio album, and the third album Ross has released in the last two years, tripled with 2014’s Mastermind and Hood Billionaire.
