At this point, Drake is a force of nature. Over the past 2+ years, he has gone from being arguably the hottest rapper in the game to arguably the biggest artist in the world. How big you ask? Try this on for size.
Last week, Drake charted 14 songs on The Billboard Hot 100, a record he tied The Beatles (maybe you’ve heard of them) for, and yet it flew mostly under the radar with almost no one, including Billboard reporting the feat; likely because It’s his 2nd time doing so!

That being said, Drake isn’t the only Hip Hop/R&B artist who has had a MAJOR impact on the Billboard charts this year, hell, he isn’t even the only one from Toronto. The Weeknd & Fetty Wap have also dominated, one could even make the case that heir performance is even more impressive, considering their positioning has been laregely at the the top of the charts this year.
