With just 2 weeks away from official regular season tip off…the NBA gave fans something to get excited about.
Yesterday, the NBA premiered their new campaign entitled “This Is Why We Play”. This campaign captures the emotions, behind basketball’s universal appeal, showcasing stories of what motivates, inspires and excites teams, players and fans both on and off the court. The first entry of this campaign will be called “Anthem”. “Anthem” highlights the game’s historical milestones and reverberating cultural impact, and demonstrates many ways teams, players and fans are deeply connected to basketball and the values it teaches (leadership, teamwork, respect, dedication, etc.) This visual will make its debut on TV nationwide on Wednesday. The commercial features NBA’s most talented superstars, coaches and legends. Be on the look out for superstars such as Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Durant, Chris Bosh, DeMar DeRozen, Dwyane Wade, Kawhi Leonard, Doc Rivers, Larry Bird, and Magic Johnson. Here’s a sneak peak of the visual below. This should definitely give fans another reason why you they should get excited for another high entertaining NBA regular season.
