2015 has been another year that Drake has dominated the Hip-Hop world. From releasing his critically acclaimed and commercially successful retail mixtape “If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late” to his thorough vanquishing of friend turned foe Meek Mill in a short lived battle, Drizzy has been racking up the W’s. This past summer, after announcing a multi-million dollar partnership with Apple Music, Drake unveiled his OVO Sound Radio where he took the opportunity release new material, one of those being “Hotline Bling.” The song lifts a similar sample from D.R.A.M.’s “Cha Cha,” and is a stark departure from the dark sonics that Drizzy has become known for, with this tune having a lighthearted vibe.
