Sure, there are some ballpark comparisons that could be drawn between the three artists, especially Chris and Michael, but the Tupac parallel is certainly interesting. Sure, both were insanely talented and outspoken in their primes–Chris Brown is arguably still in his–but their narratives were starkly different. Maybe Cannon is alluding to the fact that they both remained positive despite being in legal trouble that threatened their careers. You can get in depth with his opinion above, of course.
