From Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures, Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema comes award-winning filmmaker Ryan Coogler’s Creed.The film reunites Coogler with his Fruitvale Station star Michael B. Jordan as the son of Apollo Creed, and explores a new chapter in the Rocky story, starring Academy Award nominee Sylvester Stallone in his iconic role. The film hits theaters Nov. 25.
In the fast-paced, high-adrenaline Point Break, a young FBI agent, Johnny Utah (Luke Bracey), infiltrates a cunning team of thrill-seeking elite athletes – led by the charismatic Bodhi (Édgar Ramírez). The athletes are suspected of carrying out a spate of crimes in extremely unusual ways. Deep undercover, and with his life in imminent danger, Utah strives to prove they are the architects of this string of inconceivable crimes. The film will hit select theaters on Dec. 25.
Principal photography has begun in Los Angeles on New Line Cinema’s The Conjuring 2, with James Wan (Furious 7) once again at the helm, following the record-breaking success of The Conjuring. The supernatural thriller brings to the screen another real case from the files of renowned demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren.

The highly anticipated Bond flick Spectre hits theaters on Nov. 6. In the below interview singer/songwriter Sam Smith discusses his theme song “Writing’s On The Wall” for the film. Director Sam Mendes, and producer Barbara Broccoli are also interviewed.
The month, co-host of The Real, Tamera Mowry Housely headed to the Inglewood Public Library for a special Goosebumps reading corner dedication. The actress and daytime talk show host stressed the importance of literacy among minority families and cut the ribbon at the library’s new “Goosebumps” reading corner, open just in time for the release of the new Goosebumps film starring Jack Black, which is playing everywhere.
Four-time Oscar-winning filmmakers Joel and Ethan Coen write and direct an all-star comedy set during the latter years of Hollywood’s Golden Age. The cast includes Josh Brolin, George Clooney, Ralph Fiennes, Tilda Swinton, Channing Tatum, Scarlett Johansson, Jonah Hill and Frances McDormand. Hail, Caesar! hits theaters on Feb. 5, 2016.
Secret In Their Eyes is an intense, powerful, haunting thriller starring Academy Award nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Academy Award winners Nicole Kidman and Julia Roberts. In this film, a tight-knit team of FBI investigators, along with their District Attorney supervisor, is suddenly torn apart when they discover that one of their own teenage daughters has been brutally murdered. The film hits theaters on Nov. 20, 2015.
Last month, Mike Epps, RZA, Draya, John Singleton and more attended special Black Mass LA Screening! 50 Cent attended a New York screening of the film at The Crosby Hotel. The film is now playing.
World renowned jazz musician Trombone Shorty brought his talents to the big screen in the upcoming Peanuts Movie by using his trombone to play the iconic voice of the schoolteacher and other adults in the film! Ratchet & Clank releases nationwide from Gramercy Pictures on April 29, 2016.The CG-animated movie is based on the iconic PlayStation video game. Two unlikely heroes struggle to stop a vile alien named Chairman Drek from destroying every planet in the Solana Galaxy. Ratchet is the last of his kind, a foolhardy “lombax” who has grown up alone on a backwater planet with no family of his own. Clank is a pint-sized robot with more brains than brawn. When the two stumble upon a dangerous weapon capable of destroying entire planets, they must join forces with a team of colorful heroes called The Galactic Rangers in order to save the galaxy. Along the way, they will learn about heroism, friendship, and the importance of discovering one’s own identity.

The film hits theaters on February 19, 2016.
The Young Messiah is the inspiring and unique story of seven-year-old Jesus Christ and His family as they come to a fuller understanding of His divine nature and purpose. It will hit theaters nationwide March 11, 2016
Filming has begun locally on The Book of Henry, director Colin Trevorrow’s (Safety Not Guaranteed) first feature as director since this year’s blockbuster Jurassic World (which has grossed nearly $1.7 billion worldwide). Focus Features is overseeing the production and holds worldwide rights, including for domestic release. Production has begun in the Czech Republic on The Zookeeper’s Wife, adapted from Diane Ackerman’s nonfiction book of the same name which was based on the diaries of Antonina Żabiński. Focus Features will release the film domestically; Universal Pictures International has distribution rights to the film in the U.K., France, Germany, Scandinavia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe.
James Cameron has partnered with celebrity charity-fundraising digital platform Prizeo.com to raise awareness and funds for One Drop, an organization which strives to ensure that safe water and proper sanitation is accessible to all. The diverse distribution collective Array Releasing announced a special double feature theatrical experience for its Fall 2015 releases. Beginning November 13, Array will open Sara Blecher’s AYANDA and Takeshi Fukunaga’s OUT OF MY HAND in Los Angeles and New York City followed by a national tour to include Atlanta, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Seattle, Houston and Boston.
“AYANDA and OUT OF MY HAND are films that represent the breadth and width of diverse filmmaking. A drama dissecting love in all forms directed by a South African woman and a story of migration and masculinity directed by a Harlem-based Japanese man, both starring all-black casts, prove to be a powerful duo,” explained Array’s Executive Director Tilane Jones. “These are the varied visions and voices that Array celebrates and amplifies through our releases. We’re thrilled to showcase these films together for film lovers who appreciate distinct, robust storytelling from underrepresented perspectives.”
