Kendrick Lamar is most certainly one of the MCs at the forefront of Hip-Hop culture pushing the boundaries of creativity with his music, lyrics and visuals. Today, the Compton native unveils the 5th music video from his critically acclaimed album “To Pimp A Butterfly,” with the clip for “These Walls.”
The Colin Tiley directed visual is 8 minutes long and includes everything from a turnt up house party, talent show with Terry Crews and jail house stories with Corey Holcomb. The overall aesthetic of the video matches that of the visual for his first single “i,” which showed off great cinematography while meshing in a sleek neb-soul vibe. Peep it below.
