This past weekend marked 15 years since the iconic Atlanta based duo Big Boi and Andre 3000, collectively known as OutKast, released their breakthrough album “Stankonia.” The album marked a shift in the groups progression as it catapulted them from Hip-Hop favorites to mainstream superstars. MTV decided to release a mini retrospective documenting the groundbreaking album.
The piece includes footage of the group in 2000 before and after the albums release. Also in the documentary is commentary by T.I., Wale, DJ Khaled and Dungeon Family member Cee-Lo.
