Even Ladybug Mecca has confirmed that the show will go down “with potential for more”
After years of back and forth break-ups to make-ups, alternative Hip Hop pioneering Brooklyn based collective Digable Planets have to decided to come back together once again after a four year hiatus to bring in 2016 in Seattle. Well, sort of.
The Neptune Theater will set the stage for the show on December 30th for Ladybug, Doodlebug and Butterfly’s third tinme is the charm” reunion. The first reunion after their initial 1995 break up due to “creative differences” was after a decade in 2005 then again in 2011.
The reunion is a part of a two day event out on by the Black Constellation, in which Butterfly’s Shabazz Palaces will be performing on the eve of the New Year.
