New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul has been a hot topic since his well publicized July 4th fireworks accident that left him with an amputated index finger and permanent damage to his right hand. Some presumed that his playing career might be over, or whether or not he would ever again where a Giants uniform. This past Sunday, JPP took the field for the first time since the accident with a protective device on his right hand as he helped the G-men get the victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
This Sunday, the Giants have a tough matchup as Tom Brady and the 8-0 New England Patriots come to Metlife Stadium. In a Wednesday press conference JPP seemed confident but humble at the same time.
On Tom Brady:
He’s a good quarterback,” said JPP. “Everybody knows about Tom Brady. But they’ve gotta come through here first.
On Drew Brees’ record breaking day against Giants:
JPP asked if Brees threw for 500 vs. Giants, what will Brady do? Answer: “I wasn’t there. That’s a big difference. Everybody knows that.”

Gameplan for Tom Brady:
JPP on Tom Brady: “You don’t know. He could have an off game. He could be sick. I hope he’s sick. That’d be better for us.” — Dan Graziano (@DanGrazianoESPN) November 11, 2015
