In Adele-like fashion, the multi-platinum, Grammy-award winning artist joined the Instagram party on Wednesday, with a post promoting the new music video dropping today.
With lyrics that question the creativity and authenticity of today’s music and pop culture, Missy once again innovates the music video concept through puppetry and vivid color, while maintaining her classic futuristic aesthetic.
The track features Pharrell, who appears in the video in puppet form along with a puppet Missy and puppet background dancers.
Missy also utilizes pop art, glitter, and street style to create a video for the single (which hope brings a new album soon), that’s already climbing charts and becoming a club staple.
