As the NBA world is still in shock after the Houston Rockets dismissal of head coach Kevin McHale, it seems like one rapper has an interesting twist to provide to the world on why the Celtics great was let go. California MC Lil B The Based God believes that his “Based Curse” is still in effect after James Harden used his “stir it up/cooking” dance on the court without his consent. Off to a disappointing 4-7 start, the Rockets went from early preseason favorites to contend for a Western Conference title to currently sitting at 11th place in the standings. The Based God himself took to Twitter to throw McHale amongst the large pot of “curse stew” for allowing the Rockets to go as deep as making a James Harden bobble head action figure doing the cooking dance.

Stepping in for Kevin Mchale is former assistant coach J.B. Bickerstaff. As weird as it is getting in H-town, hopefully Lil B is paying attention to the damage the curse has done to the franchise. On the other end, the Rockets might want to consider making amends with the Based God or else this season might be a long one.
