Drake’s “Hotline Bling” is being remixed left and right, as well as inspiring artists like Erykah Badu to try their hand at making the track their own.
Adele is the latest musician to catch Drake fever, sharing in an interview with etalk’s Danielle Graham that she would love to do an official remix of “Hotline Bling.”
“I really want us to do an official remix. I love Drake,” the singer gushes in the interview. “I even got the coat that’s in the video, I got it delivered the other day, I ordered it. The red one.”
The potential of a Drake remix appears to have the power to be able sneak its way into Adele’s insanely busy schedule, as the singer celebrates the release of her new album, 25.
In the interview, Adele shares that a recent evening out with her friends turned into them emulating the dance moves featured in the video for the track, saying, “they’ve got video of me dancing to it on a coffee table as well.”
Drake has yet to weigh in on the possibility, but it could be one hell of a collaboration.
Additionally, in case you missed it, Adele performed her number one single, “Hello,” on Saturday Night Live this weekend as well, showing the singer isn’t slowing down whatsoever following the release of her new album.
