The roll-out for Trey Songz’s last album, Trigga, was led by “Na Na,” an upbeat Rap&B banger produced by then scorching producer DJ Mustard, that ended up being a bigger hit than many envisioned. As a follow-up, Songz and Mustard slowed it down, taking one of the Los Angeles’ reps instrumentals, and turning it into a woozy cut that allowed Songz to stray from his pop persona, and settle into a comfortable R&B groove. The result? Must-listen.
