A petition calling for Donald Trump to be banned from the UK has been signed by more than 100,000 people in a day, requiring the parliament to consider it for debate on the parliament floor.

The petition comes after the presidential candidate called for a ban on Muslims entering the US until “we figure out what the hell is going on. We are out of control.”

The statements sent shock waves through the United States and apparently the world, after many publicly shamed Trump for his comments—including White House officials, who said Trump’s comments “disqualify” him from presidential candidacy.

Comments from Trump that also didn’t sit well with those in the UK included him implying that there were districts of London and Paris so “radicalized” they were off limits to police, which led to statements from UK officials emphasizing how he “could not be more wrong.”

The UK doesn’t play when it comes to banning people from their country, especially people who preach hate or incite extremism (and also based on criminal records). Trump’s endorser Mike Tyson was once banned from the country over his rape conviction. Here’s hoping Donald Trump is next.
