Metta World Peace aka Ron Artest

The ever eccentric Metta World Peace has had his fair share of highs and lows both on and off the court, and in the stands. Growing up in the Queensbridge Housing Projects, the home of rap legends such as Nas, MC Shan, Mobb Deep, CNN and more, it is only right that World Peace would try his hand at rapping. To be quite honest, I almost left the small forward off the list due to past horrendous musical offerings. See his 2006 album My World, which featured guest appearances by Diddy, Juvenile, Nature, Capone and others. His spot on this list is based mostly around his 2010 single “Champions,” which took off after he won an NBA title that same year with the Los Angeles Lakers.
