CEO/President Hildebrand announced that all employees, no matter what their position, would receive a $100,000 bonus: a total amount of nearly $1.4 million dollars.

This, however, isn’t the first time the billionaire owner has paid out such a generous bonus to his workforce.

Five years ago, Hilcorp gave all employees a decision to make regarding bonuses: a new car worth $50,000 or a $35,000 cash bonus.

Other perks include 88 hours of training every year and college tuition reimbursement,  leaving no secret as to why the company has found itself on Fortune’s list of the “100 Best Companies to Work For” three years in a row.
