Beyoncé will reportedly star in the remake of the classic movie, A Star is Born.
The “Flawless” signer will be heading back to the big screen soon after taking a hiatus from acting after featuring in films such as Cadillac Records, Obsessed, Dreamgirls, and Fighting Temptations.
Knowles will star in the remake of the 1937 movie A Star Is Born, originally directed by William A. Wellman and Jack Conway. The film centers around a young girl that moves to Hollywood with hopes of fame and stardom, that ends up falling in love with an elder actor whom she weds. She eventually must choose between caring for him or pursuing her career.
The remake of the film will be Bradley Cooper’s directorial debut. According to the New York Post’s Page Six, “Beyoncé is a go!” Although the film has supposedly begun casting, Cooper is still in search of backing and it won’t hit theaters until the end or 2016 possibly 2017.
