Wale‘s been teasing new music just about everywhere over the last few weeks, especially Snapchat and Twitter, and today he’s let loose with a loosie fans have been asking him for feverishly, “MVP (Bryce Harper).”
The song, produced by Cheeze Beatz, pays homage to the 2015 National League MVP Bryce Harper, who plays for Wale’s hometown Washington Nationals, and brings Wale’s recent song output up to four. Since November, he’s dropped “New Phone,” “Illuminate” with Phil Ade, and “Know Me” with Skeme, all while teasing a new project, which, according to his Snapchat, he partially played for his label, Atlantic Records, last week.
