Robert Griffin III’s time with the Washington Redskins can be described as turbulent to say the least. After his standout rookie season, he has been plagued by injuries while also being at odds with head coach Jay Gruden and teammates. The former Baylor QB was benched at the start of the 2015 and has not seen the field at all this year, being 3rd on the Redskins depth chart behind Kirk Cousins and Colt McCoy.

As the 2015 regular season comes to a close, it appears that there may be some light at the end of the tunnel for RGIII. Still very much talented, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport has shared that the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles and Houston Texans are among the teams interested in Griffin when he becomes a free agent.

All three teams have struggled on offense, with the Cowboys and Texans faltering due to injury at the QB position, while the Eagles Sam Bradford has just been plain ineffective. Along with that initial report, Rapport states that current New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton is interested as well. After a disappointing season with the Saints, Payton will most likely be with another franchise next year, and is looking to snag Griffin to come aboard whichever team he joins.
