A major critique that has dogged Lebron James for years, especially during his era with the Miami Heat is his preference to whine and cry to the referees over a missed call or lack thereof. It has been perceived as arrogance and entitled behavior by many casual NBA fans. Last week, Boston Celtics announcer Tommy Heinsohn implied when the Cleveland Cavaliers faced the Celtics that James demands preferential treatment from the referees because James believes he’s a “king”. On Christmas Day, while James and the Cavs faced off with the Golden State Warriors, a Warriors fan made the crybaby gesture toward James while his back was turned to inbound the ball. As fate would have it, James turned around and the fan quickly played it off. Now the begging question is, did she not know that this would definitely go viral?
