TDE affiliate Groovy Q was steady working on his next project for most of the year yet, when he stepped out, you could tell that his eye for avant garde and unique fashion is unchanged if not enhanced. During Sasquatch! Music Festival Q sported a culture based look, bouncing around in the Blue rag inspired North Face x Supreme “Bandana” Mountain Parka. Q’s looks are ethnic inspired and almost always paired with a sharp selection of accessories. In 2012, Rolling Stone wrote “Schoolboy Q hails from a West Coast weed-rap crew called Black Hippy, but you won’t see him on the corner rocking a Dashiki.” 2015 was the year the star donned the ancestral garb with a fedora and rounded designer lenses while performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
