Congratulations are in order to “Dab Daddy” Cam Newton, who welcomed his first child with longtime girlfriend Kia Proctor.
The Carolina Panthers QB has been notoriously quiet about his personal life, but let the cat out of the bag on Twitter yesterday (December 30) about becoming a dad.
According to The Charlotte Observer, his baby, who’s name has not been revealed, was born on Christmas Eve. The 26-year-old football star was seen leaving practice early on Dec. 24 to travel to Atlanta, where Proctor, 27, gave birth.
It all makes sense now why Newton mimicked rocking a baby to sleep after a first quarter touchdown in the team’s first season loss against the Atlanta Falcons last Sunday.
