However, throughout their “beef,” Birdman has always said about Lil Wayne that the New Orleans rapper would never not be a part of Cash Money. Even in a recorded phone call with Slim Jesus, whom Baby was reportedly trying to sign last month, he can be heard laughing off the idea that either Drake, Nicki Minaj or Lil Wayne would be leaving Cash Money in lieu of the past year’s drama.

Today, TMZ is reporting that the picture Mack Maine posted on New Year’s Day, featuring himself, Baby, Lil Wayne and Drake posing together, wasn’t just a flick for the ‘gram. Apparently, Maine orchestrated a 2-hour phone call conversation between Wayne and Baby, where the two began looking for ways to find peace again. It won’t be easy, Weezy will reportedly not budge on the $51 million lawsuit he filed against Baby unless the two reach a firm agreement.
