Taking to Instagram, Boosie Badazz‘s excitement shone through in an caption revealing that there is a biopic in the works about his life.
The film announcement came with a photo of Boosie alongside Jamal “Gravy” Woolard, who portrayed Notorious B.I.G. in the rapper’s 2009 biopic and will reprise the role in the upcoming film about Tupac Shakur.
Boosie Badazz is back to feeling like himself, working on new music, as well as the film, after battling an aggressive kidney cancer in late 2015.
The Instagram caption read, “It’s official “BOOSIE” the movie is on the way‼️‼be on the look out for casting call , This Movie will be epic ??,” Boosie wrote. “Me & @Jamalgravywoolard aka Biggie n talks with the real sharks of the movie industry.”
While more details have yet to arise, it’s wonderful to see the Louisiana rapper start off 2016 on such a positive, productive footing.
