Wale has always been known to be one of the more knowledgeable artists when it comes to sports, even appearing on ESPN‘s morning debate show First Take several times. Back in 2013, Wale and label mate Stalley crafted out a tune for show, and today ESPN called on the services of Folarin once again. This time to remix their current theme music and the end result is “Every Word Great.” The song, which shoutouts several notables in the sports world, included the shows hosts Stephen A. Smith, Skip Bayless and Molly Qerim, has a Go-Go feel to it, which is staple in Wale’s home of Washington, D.C.

Being asked to write the new theme song to First Take is a big deal to me being such a big sports fan & former college athlete. I was honored when they asked me to write the current one and jumped at the opportunity when they asked if I’d write the new one.
