While the anticipation for Drake‘s fourth solo album continues to build rapidly despite the MC releasing two separate projects this past year – thanks especially to the success of The Source‘s top-ranked rap single of 2015, “Hotline Bling” – Drizzy’s right-hand man and longtime engineer/producer Noah “40” Shebib took to Instagram on Friday night to add to the surrounding hype, and perhaps corroborate Aubrey’s New Year’s Eve statements, publicly sharing a photo of the LP’s corresponding file in his music library. Although the caption was merely a folder emoji, it certainly helps lift spirits now that the rumored arrival date of January 6 is officially behind us. Talk about a cliffhanger.
