According to NFL Networks Ian Rapoport, the decision to cut Griffin is “just a matter of time.”

Soon after Rapoport’s report, a photo surfaced of Griffin cleaning out his locker after declining to speak with members of the media.

Griffin was named Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2012, leading the Redskins to the division title that same year. Since that season, which ended with a loss to the Seattle Seahawks, Griffin tore his ACL and never got on the same page with new head coach Jay Gruden.

Rapoport reported the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, Houston Texans and New Orleans Saints could be potential landing spots for Griffin next season.
