The former Two and a Half Men star, known best as of late for his ubiquitous “winning” campaign, revealed late last year that he was HIV positive, and vowed to do everything in his power–“I will use every resource available to me”–to help find a cure for the disease. Mexico was apparently where some resources were available to Sheen, and he found himself working with Dr. Samir Chachoua, who has been experimenting with alternative HIV/AIDS treatments for years, and was believed to have made significant headway in the search for a cure twenty years ago before his discoveries were allegedly destroyed.

A tentative Sheen told Dr. Oz recently, according to this Page Six story, that Chachoua him do an experiment he had “no faith in” but went along with anyway. Well, don’t tell that to the doc, he clearly feels pretty strong about the progress he made. Chachoua want as far as into inject himself with blood he extracted from Sheen–who is still very HIV positive–during their time together as proof that his experiments were working.
