Kanye West has become very much part of the Kardashian family, but most fans had a romantic optimism that he wouldn’t let the sisters influence his music too much. Turns out, it’s difficult keeping them out of the studio. Even more so, ‘Ye’s excited to welcome the ladies’ input, inviting them into sessions.
Khloe Kardashian, in a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, was quick to use the word ‘we’ and clarified her usage hinting at how much time they all spend together, and furthermore exclaiming, “Thank God we all live a block apart.”
He has so many songs that we—I act like I’m recording them—that he can’t figure out what he wants to put on his album. And they’re all genuinely terrific songs.
Continuing on, Khloe also talked about how ‘Ye also looks to the sisters for advice and wants to know their opinion, as well as acknowledging what it’s been like to be one of the only people who’ve heard his album.
I know, it’s really cool. And he really cares about our opinions, which I find even cooler. Because we’re not artists, obviously, but he respects what we say so much. He is so passionate. He’s like, every bit the meaning of an artist. He’s so into his craft, and just to see him at work and see how much he respects our opinions, all of us sisters, he wants us all in the studio at different times. Thank God we all live a block away from each other.
While Kanye’s eighth studio album is slated for release on February 11, we’ll all have to wait and watch to see how the Kardashian sisters play a role in relation to his music, and not just his publicity.
