Nike and the Jordan brand are planning to release a custom made Neymar edition of the Air Jordan 5 Low sneaker. The Brazilian sensation will become the first soccer player ever to have his own custom made pair of Air Jordans.
Nike owns the Jordan brand and they already sponsor Neymar as well as his national team, Brazil, and his club team, FC Barcelona.
With a soccer star being one of the main faces of the Nike and Jordan brand, they’re expected to reel in up to $4.5 billion dollars by 2020. Other than scoring over 16 goals this season for FC Barcelona, Neymar is a fan favorite in social media, with over 39 million followers on Instagram.
Be on the look out for this special edition shoe which will debut fall of this year.
