The Rams are going with a very familiar look en route to their new home of Los Angeles.
Today [Friday, January 15] the football team debuted their new team logo, which resembles the same colorways used when the team was in St. Louis.
After the announcement coming from the NFL that the Rams were moving to LA, fans were expecting the team to switch back to the classic blue/yellow colorway that introduced the football world to Hall Of Famers such as Eric Dickerson. With an owners approval vote of 30-2, the Rams will be playing their home games in the L.A. Coliseum for the next three years, the same outside venue they used to host opponents from 1946-1979.
A new state-of-the-art stadium will be built in the Inglewood section of California will not be open until 2019. The grand total cost of the project is an estimated $2.5 billion dollars. LA fans will be expecting nothing but excellence once they realize the amount of money being invested in this new move.
