Now I’d like to preface this hypothesis by emphasizing how that’s merely all it is thus far: a matter of speculation – and there’s probably a great deal of wishful thinking involved as well – but recent signs could be pointing to a new collaboration between Kanye West and Lil Wayne potentially on the horizon, or perhaps even already in the works.

The main source of suspicion is a rather suggestive tweet by Tunechi that was issued on Saturday, which reads, “N!ggaz in Italy slime,” perhaps referencing “N****s in Paris,” Yeezy’s smash single from Watch the Throne with Jay-Z. Although he may have just been making a casual statement about his trip for scheduled performances – that apparently did not go off without a hitch, as it turns out – the possibility also exists that he could have actually been leaving behind a tiny trail of breadcrumbs for us to follow, alluding to being joined by ‘Ye. But where’s the clue of coincidence – or lack thereof, for that matter – ultimately stemming from?

Because meanwhile, as an explanation for all of the mass confusion surrounding this week’s G.O.O.D. Friday delay, Kim Kardashian indicated with a string of her own tweets last night that her husband, Kanye, flew to Italy for a Yeezy Season 3 fitting, immediately hitting the studio upon his arrival to finish his previously-teased collaboration with Kendrick Lamar, “No More Parties in L.A.,” for which Kim claims he wrote a whopping 90 bars on the plane ride. Compiled altogether, keep in mind, this raises some thoughts.

Could Weezy also be contributing to the full version of “No More Parties in L.A.?” Could he and Kanye be conceiving an entirely separate G.O.O.D. Friday track, or perhaps even a record for Mr. West’s upcoming seventh solo album, SWISH, here in the final days leading up to its February 11 release? Only time will tell I suppose, and it’s entirely possible that these theories could end up being too good to be true, proving that we’ve simply read much too far into things. To each their own, of course, but I personally prefer to think otherwise – and at the very least, it seems to be worth keeping an eye on as we reminisce on the pair’s classic collaborations like the “Lollipop” remix, “Barry Bonds,” “Forever” with Drake and Eminem, and “See You in My Nightmares.”
