Just over a week ago, Kim Kardashian sent the music world into a frenzy when she announced the release of Kanye West‘s new song, the Ty Dolla $ign-featured “Real Friends,” and the return of his weekly new music series, G.O.O.D. Friday. Kanye obliged later that afternoon, dropping “Real Friends” along with the snippet of another song, “No More Parties in L.A.,” his first official collaboration with Kendrick Lamar, and a collab fans have been looking forward to since K. Dot was the opener on 2013’s Yeezus tour.

Unfortunately, the following Friday (January 15), Kanye West was notably missing, leading fans to believe that Kim K wasn’t as sure about the return of G.O.O.D. Friday as she appeared to be. Last night, in the midst of a pretty crazy Saturday evening–Future played chicken with his surprise new tape, Meek Mill dropped a 4-song EP out of nowhere, that playoff game though–Kardashian West decided to clear the air and somewhat apologize for Ye’s absence, and failure to drop new music.

Well, Kim, as long as long as the song is being tended to, no harm, no foul we guess. By the way, it’s Yeezy*.
