Rodger Bumpass, the voice for “Squidward Tentacles” on Nickelodeon‘s hit animated show SpongeBob Squarepants, was arrested Friday night for driving under the influence in Burbank, California.
Cops noticed Bumpass leaning against a blue PT Cruiser parked in the middle of the street around 11pm and when the cops approached him, he tried to walk away and almost fell over. Allegedly, Bumpass admitted to driving before police saw him leaning against the car and he was arrested after failing a field sobriety test.
His blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit.

The 64 year old voice actor was released the next day with a citation and will appear in court next month.
