Young Chicago rapper The HolyKit solidified himself within the rap world with his last album, Lownt God Rising, produced by Supreme Cuts in 2014.

Since then the Los Angeles transplant has been setting trends with his relaxed flow and indelible bars that have garnered him attention from artists like DJ Osh Kosh of Two-9 and  Chicago drill rapper Sasha Go Hard.

Inspired by his recent relocation to The Golden State, Kit brings us his latest release, “No One,” produced by Mexico Dro. His melodic soundscapes and  boastful lyrics deliver the perfect track to vibe to.

“I made this song to let people know I don’t need anyone to keep me moving,” Kit explained in his interview with FADER. “I learned in this music game you can’t trust everyone you meet you just gotta do you keep it pure and original, I wanted to bring the melody Kit back with this new track it was heavily inspired by my new L.A. life, ever since I moved here a year ago I’ve been on my own.”

This up-and-coming star will be one to keep your eye on as the year progresses. Check out the first track off Kit’s upcoming mixtape IM NOT HERE, which drops February 29.
