In recent months the perceived tension between A$AP Rocky and Travi$ Scott has heightened. Outside a New York club Scott went ballistic when a fan referred to him as the Harlem rapper, and in a recent interview, Rocky had some interesting things to say about his relationship with the Houston rapper and producer, declaring that the people should decide whether or not Scott is a “biter,” after Rocky’s crew mate, A$AP Nast, when on an Instagram rant claiming Travi$ Scott stole his style.
The two rappers are also inextricably linked by their relationships with Rihanna–Rocky was rumored to be romantically involved with the pop star a couple years ago after he opened up for her on tour, grabbed her butt in an infamous VMAs moment and featured her as his love interest in his “Fashion Killa” video, while Scott has currently all but looked into a TMZ camera and declared Rihanna his girlfriend in recent weeks. Still, both rappers say there’s no beef, and it looks like we finally have proof.
An Instagram photo from Young Lord–his account is private–an A$AP Mob crew member and fashion aficionado, uploaded a picture of Rocky posing for a selfie with Travi$ Scott, both appearing amicable, and Lord made sure to tag both of them to avoid confusion. We may be a ways from a collaboration, but this should at least kill the beef rumors.
