BBC Three is a U.K. youth network whose target audience ranges from the ages of 16-34. On February 16th of this year, BBC Three will be an online-only network and they have some production plans up their sleeve.
These production plans include a collaboration with British hunk, Idris Elba’s Green Door Pictures. The collaboration between the two production companies is for the intention to produce a series of short dramas. This was also done in hope to develop new talent, “from new writers featuring new on-screen talent working alongside established on-screen talent,” Elba said. He also added, “I’m looking forward to working with BBC Three and giving new writers and actors a chance to show what they can do.”
The online network would also include a documentary titled Black Power, and you can probably infer what that is going to be about.
There are no slate release dates.
