According to court records, the company is suing the rapper/businessman for $16 million in damages plus the $2 million in the royalties collected after sales dropped from $35 million to $6 million a year following its debut. When Gold Jay-Z was introduced, it was the best selling celebrity fragrance on the market.

Parlux also accuses Jay of passing on a promo event at Macy’s and refused an appearance on Good Morning America. He’s also turned down the $20K 18K Gold capped bottles made by Jacob The Jeweler.
