The only thing more exciting and unpredictable than the actual title of Kanye West‘s new album–it’s WAVES as of the time of this writing, but who knows, with time and an active Twitter account, you never know what Yeezy will do–is tracking the studio sessions that contribute to its composition. Between surprise appearances by 2 Chainz and Kirk Franklin (??), Kanye has also hit the studio with the likes of Kid Cudi and Andre 3000, Earl Sweatshirt may or may not have been in the building, and of course there are those pictures of him and A$AP Rocky just hanging out being cool.

Well, another day, another cryptic Instagram post, this time involving Odd Future front-man Tyler, The Creator. Tyler’s relationship with Yeezy is well-documented–Tyler reportedly disallowed Ye from appearing on his 2013 single “IFHY” with Pharrell–and the two came together with Lil Wayne last year for one of the best posse cuts of the year, “Smuckers,” which appeared on Tyler’s most recent album Cherry Bomb. It looks like the L.A. native could be returning the favor, as he’s pictured in the below post by Yeezy confidant Tracey Mills, who’s been tracking WAVES sessions for the last week. The caption says it all.
