Over the past decade, the New York City borough of Brooklyn has undergone various changes, namely due to gentrification, that has given BK a different look. In 2014, the YouTube series Money & Violence captivated millions of viewers as it shed light on the “old Brooklyn.” The series gained such a massive following that notables in the Hip Hop world made cameos, while the shows creator, Rafe, and cast made appearances on some of the biggest platforms media while also being brought out on stage by Meek Mill during his set at Hot 97’s Summer Jam.

Last year, there were rumblings that the second season of the show would be available exclusively through JAY Z’s TIDAL, but that has not been confirmed thus far.
