It’s looking like this year’s high flyers will be some of the most exciting participants in All Star Weekend’s Slam Dunk Contest in recent memory. Drake will definitely want to be in the front row for this one.
The NBA has made their final selection for the best and most talked about event during every NBA All Star Weekend. The 2016 Verizon NBA Slam Dunk Contest will feature Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond, Denver Nuggets shooting guard Will Barton, Orlando Magic small forward Aaron Gordon and last year’s slam dunk champion, Minnesota Timberwolves shooting guard Zach LaVine.
Many fans will see this list and will pick LaVine as the early favorite to repeat last year’s success, but Barton and Gordon are the two candidates with the best chances to knock off Zach while giving fans an amazing dunk showcase. But don’t sleep on Drummond! The Pistons flying phenom will be labeled a dark horse bringing nothing but power along with amazing athleticism for a big man his size.
