Late last year, Charlie Sheen revealed to the world that he is HIV positive and the news became one of the biggest headlines of 2015. The actor went on to say that he discovered that he had the virus back in 2011, and traces of it have since been undetectable in his system. One of the doctors who recently treated him, Dr. Samir Chachoua was so confident in his methods of treatment, that he told the media that he infected himself with Sheen’s blood.

Chachoua recently appeared on HBO’s Real Time With Bill Maher and shared that he believes his arthritic goat milk is the cure for HIV. He says that the CAEV virus in the milk “destroys HIV and protects people who drink it for life.” The doctor is not licensed to practice medicine in the United States but says that he eradicated HIV and another virus called chikungunya in Comoros, an island off the coast of east Africa, back in 2006. During his appearance on the show, Chachoua says that Sheen was “the first adult in history to go HIV negative.
