No two Kanye West album roll-outs are the same, but this one is by far the strangest of them all. After revealing titles like So Help Me God and SWISH last year, it appeared that Yeezy had comfortably arrived at a final name for his 7th opus, WAVES, late in January. However, that didn’t last long, and whether or not Wiz Khalifa and the internets disapproval of it, it’s unlikely that’s the name that hits iTunes when the projects drops this Thursday.
Ye took to Twitter early this morning to reveal that he might have a “secret” album title, that probably won’t be revealed until the Madison Square Garden reveal of both his album and his Yeezy Season 3 collection on Thursday. “Secret” implies that neither one of the previously discussed album titles made it off the cutting room floor, so let the countdown begin. We’re just a few days away.
