Music and fashion mogul Pharrell Williams is no stranger to taking on new projects to help build and establish his brand. The newest venture the Virginia-native has taken on is co-ownership of well known brand G-Star Raw.
This morning [February 9] the clothing line announced the news, stating Pharrell will be involved “on many creative levels, from collections, to advertising and business strategy.”
Williams announced the news himself via Twitter: “On top of my business. As of today, proud to be co-owner of G-Star Raw.”

Back in 2014, the two got together to design a denim collection made strictly from plastic recycled materials. The line was titled “Raw For The Ocean,” and showcased the combined work of G-Star and Pharrell’s fabric company Bionic Yarn (where he’s creative director).
