Acoording to news reports, a Los Angeles judge has thrown out model Janice Dickinson‘s defamation lawsuit against entertainment mogul Bill Cosby.
LA County Superior Court Judge Debra Weintraub dismissed the defamation lawsuit, but the prosecution will proceed with the sexual assault case. After initially filing the sexual assault charge, the 60 year old model amended the charges to include a defamation suit against Cosby and his lawyer, Marty Singer.
Dickinson alleges that Cosby invited her out to Lake Tahoe to discuss a job offer, but instead gave her a glass of wine and a pill so that he could rape her.
Dickinson is among dozens of women who are claiming that the 78 year old comedian either sexually assaulted them or raped them over the past 40 years of his illustrious career in entertainment.
