Just four days ago, TMZ reported that rapper DMX was found unconscious in the parking lot of a Ramada Inn in Yonkers, NY. Though X’s team reportedly tried to chalk up the incident to an asthma attack, witnesses claimed that after DMX ingested a “powder” substance, he fell unconscious. Furthermore, the report stated that immediately following his being resuscitated by law enforcement officers that applied CPR, DMX was treated for an overdose at a nearby hospital.

Thankfully, it doesn’t appear that the scary episode has left lasting negative impact on X’s physical well-being. Last night, he performed live in New York City at Lively nightclub in Manhattan’s Meatpacking district, and looked good doing it, even posing for a social media shot, which he posted to his Facebook late last night.

While speaking with the New York Daily News, X’s lawyer, Murray Richman revealed that his client will be performing in Pennsylvania on Saturday, further proof that he’s past whatever was ailing him that night in the parking lot. Though the New York rapper hasn’t put out a ton of material in recent years, don’t be surprised that he’s still got a rigid touring schedule. DMX has sold over 30 million albums worldwide, and was one of the most dominant rappers in his peak years, from 1998-2003.
