Yesterday was the official kick-off of New York Fashion Week 2016, but all eyes were on Madison Square Garden, where Kanye West was unveiling his brand new album, The Life of Pablo, for a sold-out crowd. Afterwards, while many expected the album to be immediately available for purchase and stream on digital retailers and streaming services, that wasn’t the case, and rumors began to fly that the album might not have been finished, despite the star-studded affair at MSG.
Today, after a lengthy Twitter rant, Kanye revealed that the album is in fact finished, and liberated a song, “30 Hours,” announcing the return of G.O.O.D. Fridays. “30 Hours” previously appeared on one of Kanye’s handwritten album tracklists, but wasn’t one of the songs that was played yesterday. Listen to it below.
