Last Sunday [February 7, 2016] many people had an adverse reaction to Beyoncé’s Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show performance.
Although most praised the “Formation” singer for her anthem paying homage to her roots, there were some upset by her dancers’ Black Panther themed attire, taking it as a personal affront to other cultures and backgrounds.
One person who took it especially offensive was The Blaze news anchor Tomi Lahren, who decided to take a stab at Beyoncé’s hubby, JAY Z. “Your husband was a drug dealer. For 14 years he sold crack cocaine. Talk about protecting Black neighborhoods. Start at home.”
In new video captured, Jay shares exactly how he feels about the anchor’s words.
After being shaded all week by the Beyhive collective for her very vocal opinions on Beyoncé’s performance, it looks like Lahren’s words finally elicited a response from the Carter household. In recent footage, Jay is filmed by a friend who hurls at him, “I’m with the drug dealer of 14 years. 14 years drug dealer, right?” Jay, who has a reputation of being a cool customer, laughed the remark off.
Although Beyoncé and Jay don’t seem to be the slightest bit fazed by all the drama surrounding her actions, Lahren has been exiled and forced to become a recluse on social media by making her accounts private after the constant harassment at the hands of Beyoncé’s fans.
